Army Body Fat Calculator
The ACFT Body Fat Calculator is a tool that helps to determine if a soldier or applicant meets the U.S. Army's body composition standards or not. This tool is updated under Army Directive 2023-11. The ACFT height and weight calculator is based on a circumference based tape method and is aligned with the Army Body Composition Program (ABCP) to ensure physical readiness across the force.

Measurement Guidelines
Following are the guidelines to calculate body fat, using the U.S. Army methods for ACFT:
- Weight (wt) – Use a calibrated scale to calculate your exact weight.
- Height (ht) – Measure your height in feet, without shoes.
- Waist – Measure the circumference of your waist at the belly button.
- Neck – Measure the circumference of your neck just below the Adam’s apple.

The Army Body Fat test is conducted on the base of following formulas:
For Men: 86.01 x log10(waist - neck) - 70.041 x log10(height) + 36.76
For Women: 163.205 x log10(waist + hip - neck) - 97.684 x log10(height) - 78.387

If you don’t meet the standards, follow the given tips for reducing your body fat;
